We are located at 1350 Empire Blvd., on the south shore of the Irondequoit Bay just East of the Irondequoit Creek with a spectacular view of the bay.
Irondequoit Bay Site history/background The name for this large bay of water is from the Iroquois Nation. The name means "where the two waters meet." The Native Americans once used this bay and the incoming Irondequoit Creek for canoe travel to avoid the high falls on the Genesee River.
What Bayside has to offer Our waterfront and docks provide; public fishing and, boating. We also have picnic tables and lounge chairs at the waterfront to just plain enjoy the view.
For those who want to give fishing a try but don't have your own gear, we can accommodate all of your needs with rental boats, rental poles & tackle boxes w/basic fishing tackle, and friendly instruction.
We have fishing boats available for off site rental. (call for Reservations)
